A Unique Dance Program ​

This program brings together two internationally renowned dance figures to offer unique training for students and teachers.

Focusing on the technical excellence of the French School of Ballet and integrating psychopedagogy for holistic learning, the aim is to provide technical excellence, pedagogical depth and integral well-being through a two-week intensive immersion.

​

Hervé Ilari, a specialist in the French Ballet School and an osteopath, brings vast experience from prestigious European companies and conservatories.

Professor Paula de Castro, a university lecturer in Classical Ballet, psychologist and psychopedagogue, is an expert in classical dance teaching methodology, ballet repertoire and dance applied psychology.

Together, they offer a holistic perspective encompassing pure technique to the dancer's mental and physical well-being.

Program Features​

Key Aspects:

• Duration: 2 weeks (10 teaching days + 2 interleaved rest days). Possibility of adaptation to 1 week or 3 weeks duration with similar or complementary contents.

• Participants: Ballet students + teachers.

• Location: Host dance school or dance center.

• Language: English/Français/Español/Deutsch

• Format: Technical classes, repertory variations, workshops and masterclasses.

Training Content:

• Ballet Classes: Focused on French technique, style, musicality, expression and stage presence.

• Variations and Repertoire: Study of classical pieces and their interpretation.

• Methodology Workshops: All ballet levels, point, men's and pas de deux technic.

• Anatomy, Biomechanics, and Injury Prevention Workshops: Body knowledge to optimize performance and prevent injuries.

• The music in classical dance class: Optimizing the use of music in the ballet class.

• Psychology and Psychopedagogy applied to dance: Teaching strategies and psychological aspects of learning in dance.

Private Ballet Classes

• For students or teachers who desire more personalized attention, there is an option to book individual private classes with the invited instructors.

• Availability: By prior reservation.

• These classes allow for a specific focus on individual areas of improvement, correction of technical details, or in-depth repertoire study.
